If you’re VAT-registered, set your VAT number in Settings once and every invoice shows the correct VAT calculation. If you’re below the £90k threshold, VAT lines just don’t appear.

Yes. Upload your logo and add your business details — every invoice gets your branding automatically.

Yes. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Your account is isolated by Row-Level Security at the database layer — no other user can read your data, ever. We take automated daily backups and we’re UK GDPR-compliant.

When you connect to HMRC, you authenticate on HMRC’s own website using OAuth 2.0 — we never see your Government Gateway password. We only hold the time-limited access token HMRC issues, which you can revoke any time.

You. Anyone you explicitly give access to (accountant sharing is on the roadmap). And HMRC — but only the figures you choose to submit, only when you submit them, and only what the MTD spec requires. We never share data with anyone else and we never sell it.

Not yet. We’re awaiting HMRC production credentials, so submissions can’t go live to users today. Quarterly cumulative submissions, the annual submission, BSAS retrieval/adjustment, and the Final Declaration are all built and tested 16/16 in HMRC sandbox — the moment production approval lands, you’ll connect HMRC from Settings and submit directly from the app. In the meantime, every invoice you record is a digital record in the MTD-required format.
